cotton woods are begining to drop thier fuzz,
and you know what that means,
Gills are getting on thier beds.
Carp are spawning in the shallow rivers.
so grab your bows spears and hand grinades, (just kiddin about the hand grinades) the carp are in the shallow streams you can walk across the river on their backs....
You might want to stay away from Hamburg Michigan, the carp are doing 90 down maine street and Third. and thay aint stopin for the light changes....[pirate]
I managed to get out to my favorite sucker hole today to drown a couple of them bearded crawlers.
I caught a small gill and a large minnow. that is a giant rainbow minnow. I will get a measurment tomarow before I plant it in the garden under my corn.
I did hook on to a couple carp, but they decided to run though the colvert to the other side of the road, kinda hard to play them under the road... getting a 36 inch long carp to turn around in a 12 inch tube just aint going to hapen....[laugh]
