MIDDLE PROVO
#1
Hit the Middle Tues and Wed this week.Fished from the highway up towards the dam on Tues and did reasonably well nymphing a red brassie and soft hackle sow below that. Most fish hit the sow but the brassie wasn't totally ignored ethier.Caught 12 browns biggest was a colorful 16 incher.Hit the section below the Hwy 40 bridge yesterday with the same setup.Caught a few more than I did Tues all about the same size as the day before.Water level is perfect and crystal clear.Mid week is the time to hit this river with all our other waters being blown out the way they are right now.Play hooky and go have fun!!

I was on the Middle P Monday and Wednesday. Water levels are just above 300 cfs which is double the normal flow. I fished just below the Legacy bridge and the water level was high enough I didn't want to cross and the clarity definately wasn't clear.

Legacy is on the road from Heber to Midway, and yes, I caught fish.

[black]I went to the middle Sunday "Cliffs Area" and went up stream towards the hiway. The water was definitly up, and fast which is okay cause that is what I wanted to fish, but it was clear. The rock I usually stand on was under a foot of water.[/black]
