FISHING CLINIC IN LIMON
#1
[font "Arial"]The Colorado Division of Wildlife (DOW) will hold a warmwater fishing seminar at the Limon Community Building at 477 D. Ave. on September 9 from 6 to 9 p.m. The class is designed to teach anglers the basics of catching warmwater fish species.

“Warmwater fishing 101 is geared for beginners and those who want to learn the basics,” said Gary Dowler, a fisheries biologist with the DOW. “It’s a great opportunity for an introduction to fishing.”

Topics covered include: tackle, regulations, and basic fish biology. Techniques taught include: how to catch walleye, catfish, bass, and panfish.

The class is free, but space is limited to the first 40 people who sign up. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
