About three and a half months or so until opener and I for one can not wait! Anyone else out there staring at their dekes and the dog looking forward to the early mornings in the cool fall air?

I'm more excited this year than I have been for the last several due to the plentiful moisture that Utah has received this winter and spring.

My home is near Utah Lake, and I usually hunt a neighbor's flooded ground on the edge of UL if the water is high enough. So far it looks like it will be excellent hunting if the state doesn't drain UL too much for irrigation and other purposes.

So yes, I'm very excited to hunt some excellent ground if conditions don't change much.
