the salmon's almost over as callie reports , walleye are still hitting everywhere , but it's time guys for a real tast treat . minominee .
yep' those fish gotta be making there way down the coastlines for there breeding season , eating any stray salmon egg that floats out of the rivers mouth .
4 or 6 pound test , a good rod , single egg on a small hook and your drag set as light as possible with a quality slip bobber set up will get you a taste treat that can't be beat .
it's time guys , it's time !!!!!!

Lonehunter: I haven't been pier fishing in years. Rather ironic than that a buddy of mine invited me up to the Grand Marais area this coming weekend. Since I plan on being at our place in Curtis anyway, I figure what could it hurt(besides my "Honey Do")list at the cabin?
