[size 2]PIERRE, S.D. - The Minnehaha County Sheriff's Department is requesting that sportsman who plan to be afield in the coming weeks assist them in locating potential evidence linked to an ongoing investigation.[/size]
[size 2]Authorities are currently investigating a shooting that took place in Baltic. They have reason to believe that a weapon and other incriminating evidence may have been disposed of between Baltic and Monroe, South Dakota.[/size]
[size 2]With the onset of hunting seasons, many people will be in the fields and may inadvertently come across potential evidence. Persons who find anything out of the ordinary are asked to contact the Minnehaha County Sheriff's Department at (605) 367-4300.[/size]
