Ya Man! The Van Zant crew will be at the Pier chomping at the bit. My grandson and his two buddies ages 8,8, and ten are taking grandpa into the Croaker infested waters just behind the surf line. We pre-registered last week. See you Thurs. night.

I hope the boys bring the secret salsa because in the past years the girls have just cleaned up on the prizes. One tip is to get their early and pick your spot because the pier is only open for the derby between the westside of the Lifegaurd house to the eastside of Rubies and not to the end of the Peir. The Derby starts at 9:00am sign-up at 8:00am and don't forget to bring small hooks

Sounds good! Sooooooo we finally meet. Think the poor radio guys can take our enthusiastic chatter. I am going on the Premier Mon (done and tired), Tues, and Wed this week so I'll have the scoop on the barries, sandbass, calico bass and bonito FIRST HAND at the 'shoe', 'flats' and the 'rigs'. Today was great my first 20 inch bonehead of the year local!
