well I've been putting in for a sandhill crane permit form the first time they had them like 13 years or so ago. and never drawn out yet this year was the same. now this year my wife put in for the first time and she drew a permit. so looks like now I have to teach her how to shoot and take her up to logan and find a bird for her.

Now that your wife has a tag what are you going to do with a crane? Do you eat it or is it just another bird for the wall.

I'm thinking that if she gets one we will try and see if we can trade it for a tax of a goose if we can find someone that wants a crane to tax. if not well I guess we will be eating it. funds are low this year or I would put it on my wall.
