Hey there guys,
Wipers have unpacked their bags and are now legal residents of a natural lake in southern California! Woopieeeeee.
The lake... Oh ya.. Lake Elsinore has had a planting of the white bass/striper hyprid ie wiper and they are now happly swimming around looking for some of the abundant shat in the lake. The critters are only 15 or so inches right now but the lake managers says they'll be bigger in the Fall.
Lake operations/fish report at (909) 674-7730. There is no website for the lake itself but a few sites will pop up with a google search.
$7 to get in ain't bad but the required year launch fee is an annoyance. Check out the details.
Great to have them planted and running free in something other than a glorified square mud hole.[][]
