[#ff0000]Spring Salmon Report[/#ff0000] Lake Michigan has been good for Kings ever since the last part April, when St. Joe
lit up. Fishing on Lk. Michigan has waned in ports like South haven, but ports further
north from Port Sheldon to Grand Haven been on fire.

Ludington and Manistee are producing goodly opportunities for Mr. Spring King
right now. Ludington, just north of the project in 110 to 120 feet of water gave up
11 Kings on 5/26/04 for my UPS driver, Capt. Kirk. Best bite has been early and
90 minutes before the sun touches the water according to Kirk. Manistee is showing
almost as good as fishing for now and the depths working best are about the same.

Spring Salmon on Lake Huron has been a total bust. No fish and not many Kings
over 10 pounds have been weighed-in at any of the early Lk. Huron tourneys thus far.
Lack of Kings on the sunrise side is a major problem. Laker fishing there is "world class"
with several reporting 20 to 30 Lakers boated and released during one outing. [#ff0000]That's All Folks!

May is coming to an end and I hope you took advantage of the fantastic spring
fishing Michigan offers. Summer Kings are not that far off, so get ready,
because the very best part of our Great Lakes trolling season is ahead of us. Calm Seas, Bent Rods, Smooth Drags
