Flaming gorge question
#1
Hey guys, does any one know if the is gorge froze?  I have a trip the first week of April, I’m trying to make
Plans. I’m just wondering about the ice because the lake by my house in Loveland Co. still has 8in. Of ice on it. Thanks,

Are you asking about ice fishing it in April Chuck? I'm just guessing that you are talking about fishing it from a boat?

Bob,
Call me if you try to launch at Lucerne in the next few days.  I want to watch the boat and trailer move onto the ice, then fall through.  I could win America's Funniest Videos.

You're funny Mike!

My first trip won't be until May.  The harbor ice will probably be gone in a week or less with high temps forecast in the 40s/50s over the next 10 days and a few days with winds over 15 mph.  The OP should be just fine to launch by the first week in April.

Appears a person could take their boat out.  You may end up like the titanic.  This picture was taken at 1:30 today.  I believe a couple of weeks wait are in my future. However you do have to hand it to these guys they are quite the diehards.
