Fishing pressure was impacted by the weather front in the area. Anglers fishing Cottonwood Cove experienced some success for striped bass. One angler landed a striped bass that measured 40 inches and weighed in at 31 pounds. The fish was taken with an AC Plug. Another boater caught 13 small stripers using a combination of anchovies and squid.
Several largemouth bass that averaged 2 ½ pounds were also caught in the area.
