Anyone here put in for any out of state draws? Wife and I put in for Antelope in Wyoming. My wife drew a buck tag with her 6 points and 2 Doe tags, I drew 1 Doe tag. Hoping to pick up a couple of more in the leftover draw!

I drew an archery limited bull tag for the bighorns, and the wife and I drew muzzle loader buck antelope tags for SW Wy. We had 4 points. This is most likely the last time we will hunt big game in WY due to the big price hikes for nonresident. We had fun for 20 plus years hunting there, and made some good friends just getting too expensive for big game hunts. Should find out by the 10th if I drew my ID. controlled deer tag.

Did not draw on
Wyoming
Bighorn sheep, Elk, deer, or antelope. Waiting on Grizzly list draw.
No need to attempt antelope D/F in the areas we like, no leftovers from the draw.
Montana, Bighorn sheep.
Idaho, no late Buck, Elk, or antelope. Waiting on Grizzly draw.
Guess we will be smoking cows and wolves in the late season, unless we bite the bullet and buy a couple crossbows to hunt Bull while they are whistling.
Grandson is making noise about us needing a dedicated slug gun for whitetails locally which is shortrange only. He doesn't have to twist my arm too hard as I have been giving it some consideration since we have a nice buck visiting our alfalfa daily.
Oregon- screwed up and missed the deadline to apply for Bighorn sheep.
What region did your wife draw?[reply]

When does your WY antelope open Matt? Our hunt starts Sat. Just finishing up with our archery elk in Utah, wife didn't get a shot but our oldest son took a nice cow. A lot of bulls in our area this year but without a LE tag you can just look. One hell of a lot of black bear in our hunt area this year my son had to chase a young black bear off twice while he was gutting his animal, saw bears everyday in the various canyons we hunted.

Done with our antelope hunt in WY. We never did see any big bucks in area we hunted so we settled for a couple smaller ones, wife shot hers at 81 yards with the CVA Accura and I shot mine at 277 yards with the same gun. Good luck on your hunt.

I was pretty tickled making that shot, I just picked the CVA up two weeks before our hunt, I have shot my TC Omega for a few years, but like my Accura mountain rifle better, its lighter and fits me well I also have a TC bone collector but have some issues with it. Good luck on your hunts, looking forward to my WY. elk hunt which starts the 24th.
