Can I launch a boat at Echo yet? If the ramp is closed, is there somewhere else to put a boat in the water there? Also, where are the best places to find the various species of fish in that reservoir?
Thanks for any info.

I was up there Saturday the gates are closed. talked with an officer from east canyon and mid april they may do a soft opening with partial services. and it may take up to 2 years for all new construction to be complete with various closures at different times.
I have caught perch, crappie, trout, catfish, and walleye from echo

Thanks for the info. Do those different fish hang out in different parts of the lake? How do you do from the shore? Is the water high enough that I could carry my row boat down to the water by the dam? Thanks again.

I have always fished it from a boat or on the ice. You could get your boat down to the water but back up would be killer
