Fished chicken creek west this morning with the kids. Fishing was just fast enough to keep there attention. Ice is holding good at least where we fished. No particular bait out shined anything I’d say variety is good thing right now. There is still time to get out there and enjoy a few trips on the ice.

Nicely done, and great pics....doubt if your kids will forget time on the ice like that....mind saying if you're just walking out ? and depth of water you're in? I was near the Marina recently, great ice still, but I haven't tried your area for a few years....might like to make 1 more trip...tks.

We just walked down west from the restroom at the parking spot. Fished just north of the pressure ridge. Would guess depth was anywhere from 12 to 20. I don’t have a fish finder. I usaually just drill holes in a line from less shallow to deeper and set the kids up and see what happens.
