Went to Fish Lake for Memorial Day weekend. We wanted to see if the Kokes were big enough to catch and if we could get them to bite this early in the year.
The weather was not very cooperative. It was windy most of the time and pretty cold. We woke up to snow Saturday morning! I think the warmest it got was in the mid 50's. Water temp was 42 degrees.
Our best fishing was on the southeast part of the lake in 60 to 90 feet of water. Most of the Kokanee seemed to be holding between 30 and 40 feet.
I didn't take many pictures because the size was nothing to brag about. They were probably around 14 inches. Next year they should have some nice size to them. Here is a pic of my son with a few we caught one morning.
