Sorry has nothing to do with fishing. But I want to hunt the island by the narrows I think it's called island mountain. I have called Hebers Dwr office she has never had anyone ask that question, I have heard of people hunting it in the old days. Just wondering if it's legal a deer ain't worth getting throw in jail or something like that. I tryed to call the marina today but no answer.

Find a map for the forest ground up there and it will tell you if it is public land or not.

the lands inside the narrows is owned by the Ute Tribe - which is not open to hunting. I believe the island you are talking about is managed by the Forest Service, which would be open to hunting. Do a google search on Wasatch County lands (I have seen the map before), it will tell you who owns the island.

Here is my interpretation which would also be backed up by the proclamation:
Posted=no hunting.
Not posted= whoever owns it is ok with you hunting it.
