I like to run them 2 to 3 ft behind a medium size dodger at 1.5 to 2.0 mph . If your dodger starts to spin or you get line twist, you need to slow down your moving to Fast. I like to direct tie to a Duo-Lock #2 snap with no swivel with a Palomar Knot.

Good luck.

What would be the advantage of not having a swivel before the dodger?

A swivel up by the dodger is fine just don't put it down by the Duo-Lock #2 snap. The weight of the swivel kills the action of the lure.

That makes sense.

Yes thank you Steve,

They look like they will work good. I like the thin body on them, makes them flutter well in the water. Ill put them up against my hoochies and see how they perform. They look like something you could jig with as well.....

You will want to put them 3ft behind your dodger .

[fishin] Hi Don. Gonefishing here from KFF. Last time I talked to you was at the fair. Hope all is well with you. I retired a couple of years ago. I am still in the Idaho Falls area catching lots of fish. Happy is I am. Take a look at srglures.com. Big fish and kokanee lures, all ground up and original. I focus mostly on glow products. Drop me a note through the web site. I owe you a couple of lures sense you sent me a pack oh mini hoochies some time back.

Just looked at your post on Koke lures. The lures look interesting and good. Last winter I jigged a PK lure that is about the size of your kokanee killer and did real well. Question is pricing? The florescent paint you us lasts how long?

Some of the new lures can last as long as 8 hours per charge. I have found the florescent lures to work especially well during the early morning hours around sun up.
The florescent Buckshot lures by Northland Tackle have worked well.

Please send the Kokanee Killer and information to:

Thanks in advance.

I went to send you an email and I see you are already in my contacts. That prompted me to do a search and I had already sent you my address previously. You stated that you were sending a lure, but it never arrived. Or, maybe it arrived and my wife or kids never gave it to me. I'm not sure.
