Nevada Two rod stamp
#1
Hello,

So, i have only been living here in Nevada for a little under a year, and i finally got my fishing license, after some research online i saw Nevada has a stamp to use Two rods, does this stamp only apply if your going to be actively fishing with both the rods, or do you need it if your only fishing with one at a time.

Welcome to Nevada and BFT, Jeremy. Your fishing license allows you to fish with one pole and line in the water. If you purchase a second rod stamp, you then may fish with two poles/lines in the water.

If you fish bait, they are worth purchasing, in my opinion. You can double your odds. Let us know if you have any more questions.

We both posted at the same time... Delete this one.

Only if both are being used simultaneously.

Something to consider. You can purchase an AZ non resident license online. License is valid one year from date of purchase.

That license allows you to fish with 2 poles, fish in the Colorado river adjacent to California and Nevada.
You need a non resident license to fish Utah.

You would not be licensed to fish the local ponds or go trout fishing in Nevada. You could trout fish in AZ

If your focus is striped bass, catfish and bass in the Colorado River system, the AZ license works and gives you more water to fish.

That is what I do now since I like to fish near Yuma and Needles in the late winter/early spring; Lake Havasu/Topock Gorge in late February and March; sometimes get on the frog bite in the summer
