willow beach 6/26/15

[cool]Hit willow just before graylight til 10:30am. for nada. Didn't even get a tap.Used ac plugs,swimbaits,even bucktail jigs. Oh well. Got to see four bighorn sheep and baby bald eagle.

I've had many of those trips . Thanks for reporting. It's always cool to see the various wildlife down there. I was offshore fishing out of San Diego last weekend and we saw whales, dolphin and a bunch of tuna that wouldn't bite. It can be frustrating when you know they are there.

Yup. At least the scenery and critters down there saved part of the day.

How is the fishing for large and smallmouths at Willow? Will be there tomorrow with the family just messing around.

[cool]I haven't caught any down there but I have heard of guys catching smallmouths in the area.Good luck.
