lake mead 3/27/15

[cool]I hit the water at gray light in the yak and headed for some small coves in the wash. It was pretty slow but was able to get three lmb on the beetlespin. First two were dinks but the third was about 2lbs. Went further south looking for beds but didn't see any. I did see a nice 3lber cruising the shore in a cove but he didn't want anything to do with my offerings.
I have used the beetlespin the last three outings and have caught both lmb and small stripers with it. It is bound to open up here soon.

Nice, you were able to avoid the skunk. LMB from a personal craft is great. I've caught them from my toon and its a blast. Now I gotta get a kitty that way. Waiting for it to take me for a ride too.

Nice bass man. I can't seem to get the bucketmouths to eat up north for some reason but the smallie bite is gettin better.
