Night fishing cats?
#1
Hey all, I'm heading out to the lake tonight to check out the Camelopardalis meteor shower, and was wondering if you guys knew what areas (if any) would produce some nice channels this time of year from the bank. I bought the Secret 7 dip bait on amazon and am aching to try it out. The plan was parking at 33 hole and trying one of those coves, but I haven't been out since the lake started dropping so not sure if that would still be productive or not.

FYI the meteor shower has the potential to be mind-blowing and should peak between midnight and 0100.

I think the cats are pretty much everywhere man. I got a nice one two weeks ago on asquare bill so they are eating... hope the clouds go away for the meteors. Its a long walk from the parking at 33 I would try govt or crawdad u should be able to drive way closer to the water. If you have a truck that is and I would recommend 4x4 if your driving around out there at night though.
Good luck

That's what I was hoping to hear. I'm much more familiar with 33 than government wash, and my explorer is 2wd, and I think hiking in the dark is better than getting my crapy suv stuck in the dark lol.

Thanks for the info!
