Fish Species You Can't Catch During the Rockfish Closures

Hey there guys,

I've compiled a list of fish that you will not be allowed to keep when sportfishing/angling in California saltwater areas. These fish cannot be kept north of Point Conception out to 30 fathoms until Jan 1, 2004 and south of Point Conception until March 1, 2004 period.

Cabezon
Broomtail Grouper (all year)
Giant Black Sea Bass (all year)
Great White Shark (all year)
Kelp/Rock Greenling
Red Snapper
Rockcod (all Year)
Rockfish (50+ subspecies)
Salmon Grouper
Scorpionfish
Sheephead
Whitefish
