Just for you skunked, I dug up my favorite shot of a brookie. It was caught by EvilTyeDyeTwin at Scout Lake in the Uintas. Yes it was caught in the fall.

No doubt they are beautiful fish. I love the yellow belly to red fins. This one is more like I'm used to, it doesn't have the yellow spots as pronounced as your one above. I got one in the winds that looked different enough I tried to call it golden, but it was just another color variation of brook. Fun fish. Later J
