Jazz Fishing
#1
My two favorite things in life are fishing and the Utah Jazz. It's not often that the two come together, other than me wiping rainbow powerbait on one of my Jazz shirts.

Anywho I came across a tweet from one of the current Jazz men Enes Kanter: "Caught my first fish with the Mailman, it was pretty small , Can u guys even see the fish ? Lol"

Karl Malone was hired by the Jazz this off season as a part time big man coach to come in and help their young big guys with some post moves and conditioning. In some spare time, Malone took Kanter out fishing for his first time, and it looks like he landed a hog of a Blue Gill. [Image: happy.gif]

Here's the actual link for the picture.

Stoked for basketball season to start. Not so much for ice fishing season.

Dude I thought I was the only 1 who was a NBA fan on here. I must confess that i'm not a jazz fan(if they could be any good I would lol) despite living in Utah. I'm a lakers fan but now they aren't much better than the jazz Sad. Hahaha that's awesome that they fish. I'm not much of a ice fisherman either. Summer=me mostly fishing and playing basketball some times but Winter=99% All basketball(playing and watching) and maybe like 1 ice fishing trip haha.

Next season's gonna be so sick with all the new faces on teams! Hopefully the Jazz are good this year with there new PG. Favors, Burks, Kanter, and Hayward hopefully got better as well.

Good one.......but I'm a LONG time, die hard Jazz/NBA fan too. Almost hate to admit it, but I grew up in So. Cal. and had Lakers season tickets.

Back when the Jazz beat the Rockets to get into the Finals for the first time, I delayed a Lake Powell trip for 3 hours just to watch that game. That one didn't go over too well with the family.......

I think Kanter's bluegill will be emblematic for the Jazz win total this year. Sad

However, that might be OK if it brings us Wiggins or Parker in the draft. Smile

I think you're being sarcastic but anyway, I guess I'm a fan of them but they aren't my favorite like your State team should. It was really disappointing back in 97 and 98 when they choked in the finals. I was only 3-4 years old during the time, but I remember watching those finals and they flat out choked. I really lost interest in them once John and Karl left. So now they're my 3rd behind Lakers and OKC.

I've always liked the Lakers from the beginning. I remember the game back in 97 where the Lakers were playing the jazz in the playoffs and kobe was air balling shots. Just 3 years later they started winning. At least I always stuck with them even during their bad years. As for being a OKC fan, Westbrook and Durant=enough said Smile.

It's definitely gonna be a rough season as far as wins go, but I think it's going to be the funnest season to watch in quite some time. Tons of blocks and dunks. And hey, if we land Wiggins or Parker... I honestly think we could win a championship in 2-3 years.
