No Boils yet
#1
I went out Friday evening, what a beautiful night of fishing. I did not see any boils but did catch a few fish. Saw some slurps early in boxcar for two one pounders. Then continued up the wash and watched all the striper club fisherman throwing nets for shad. I did bring my net but it looked really busy and I wash't that excited about putting in the work. I let my dog chase some ducks and then cruised the west side of the LV wash and chased some slurps right before dark for 4 nice two to three pound stripers. Probally could of caught more but was insistent on top water bait, but once I went to small swim baits the bite was on. Looking forward to a great fall of top water striper fishing

I drank about 2 gallons of gatoraide while throwing the net for shad.
The smaller shad was the ticket, and just west of Sand Island had the Stripers. Only boated about 30 fish, it was a little slow for this time of year.

We hit boils on Saturday AM after a 4 fish only nite on Boulder beach.

Talked to some guys on Sunday that had fish from the intake tower.
