Took my 4-1/2 year old fishing on Monday since there was no preschool. Launch at 9am out of boulder and shot over to the wash. Stopped in 36 feet of water dropped the jig down and BAM fish on. Had the little guy pull in a few fish with some help [laugh]. He was too scared to hold the fish so I couldn't take a picture. But he kindly shared most of our lunch with the local wildlife. Met some striper club members on the water jigging next to us in a Lund, told me about a new lure to try. Anyways, after about 15 dinks, headed deeper into the wash for some bigger ones, nailed three 4-5lbers and then just drifted between the two spots. Great day on the Lake, all in all, 28 fish most around a pound with the three bigger ones. This has been the past winter striper fishing for me, double digits every time out.
