Duck Hunting
#1
[cool] I am pretty sure that there are a few duck hunters on this forum. I am also pretty sure that there are some pretty kind, respectable, generous duck hunters on this forum. With that in mind, does anyone have some decent/excellent soft water duck hunting spots they want to share with me? Said spot will need to be shallow enough for me to wade and walk to. Also the more banded ducks at said spot the better. Pm's are accepted, and appreciated. Thanks againg to all the generous waterfowl hunters on this forum. [cool]

or

46°18'00.51" N, -114°36'19.73" W

That's a start until we know more details on what area you want to hunt.

I am in Idaho Falls, and would like to hunt somewhere within an hour from Idaho Falls.

First, here's what I would do. I would go here:

and purchase Belasko's goose decoys. Then I would go door to door finding permission to hunt a corn field. Throw some duck deeks down with the goose shells, and have fun with it.

What's harder - finding a corn field to hunt on, or finding elbow room somewhere on the Snake? I don't know. But I guess the main thing now is finding open water.

I would ask your question here for more helpful responses:

Good luck ~

I still have those decoys too. I've had a couple people say they want them but no one's followed through on setting up a time to get them. At this point I'll sell them to whoever gets to them first!
