How comes certain members can pick and pry at others and some cant ? Kinda feels like some guys on here are gettin special treatment over and over while others get the shaft right after their 1st thread or post ! Last time I checked this is a public forum right ? As long as its not vulgar or indecent who cares about another member calling B.S on a fellow member I cetainly don't take anything personal on BFT except the special treatment issue.Who decides if another members post or thread is credible ? The phony report is decided by the MODS ? If they weren't there howd they know ? Is one only credible on here because they have 10000 posts and a true bass boat ? Theres a group of members on here who know who they are that can get away with way more jabs-pricks-prys & snubs because their just special folk ! Anyone else feelin this ?

I agree with your comment. You post a thread and then a few jerks head for the deep end and the next thing you know, your entire post gets locked. Seems like the Moderators have their favorites? Maybe the jerks need a timeout once in awhile?
I have met several members and had great times on the water/ice and those experiences make it worthwhile to me. I guess the jerks will continue to be jerks? I would love to hear the views of the moderators and they can even PM me for specifics.

What specifically caused this outburst of disdain? This is a fishing forumn. Post some information that others would find useful (pertaining to fishing), get some information that you mught be able to use and get off the computer. It's really pretty simple.....

If you were to make a list of the "special folk", whom in your opinion get special treatment, some members would agree with your list and there would likely be just as many or more who feel that your list is entirely wrong. I couldn't agree with Kent more.
How does that old saying go, walk a mile in my shoes. When you look at it from the perspective that we see it, it is very hard to keep everone happy all the time and it is an impossible job. We try to but it is, at times, like putting your finger in the dike trying to stop a leak, it isn't going to work for long. So when threads are a lost cause and we see no move valve in deleting member replys or editing them we lock them. If we were paid to watch this site all day long, there is not much else we could do either but we have a limited amount of time and we deal with each case as best we can. One thing is for sure, if we played favorite it would be a lot easier but we do as best we can to be even handed in how we run the boards. Bottom line, there are a lot of different opinions about what should or should not be done and there is no way we can make everyone happy all the time. The members are who decide and when one of you tells us they are making false reports just to stir the pot then we have a good idea who those people are. Why are you feeling guilty?

Just has been stated by the mods above, This is a private forum....it has rules and people who decide where to draw the line. The rules are in writing, but not everything can be put into writing.

Nope, but if a member has 10 posts to his name and they are all jabs at others then he has a lot less creditability than someone with hundreds of positave posts and a well worded opinion post here or there.
We (the mods) discuss all responces and opinions on what we are doing and ways that we can inprove on our board, if you have a suggestion, we would be glad to hear it and see how we can improve.
It is impossiable to please everyone as everyone has their own idea on where to draw the line. Some think we are too strict, others tink we are too leaniant....its all a matter of opinion.

Yep, I can see how some folks view some members as receiving special treatment, and probably have. [shocked] For the most part though, they have earned the reputation for their treatment and again, for the "most part" they have posted their disagreements in good taste and maybe more importantly, Fishing info., help. constructive criticism etc. that have benefited many others.
Yeah, some have tested "the line", but again, maybe they "earned the privilege". Not saying this is "equal justice" but "earned justice".
There have been mistakes of judgment on the mod's part, but give em a break!!!!!! They are human folk just like you. Do you want to volunteer for their position? [  ]
