corn....

whole kernel corn... just put one on a small hook under a very small bobber about 1-2 foot deep.

We catch nice rainbows and browns in northern arkansas on corn all the time.

one kernal on the tip of the hook.

Of course I'm giving advice on how to catch southern trout. I have no idea how they catch them up north.

Watch out for the corn thing, it is illegal to use corn for bait in Wyoming... What state are you going to be fishing in?

I fish for lake trout all the time and catch double everybody else. I fish this rig every time out. Mainly after the common lures stop hitting.

You don't need more then 4 colors of worms, some days I only need to change back and forth between two colors.

The bobber allows for much longer casts, along with very slow retrieve speeds if needed. You can reach holding fish that are deeper out, and keep the bait right in front of them for longer.
