A couple of my friends were fortunate enough to draw tags in the bookcliffs. as you can see we had a great weekend down there. What an awesome place, i saw around 180 deer and looked over 50 bucks from thursday to sunday.

Nice looking bucks, were you guys hunting in the roadless area? How many bonus points did it take to draw those tags?

We were hunting bitter creek area and over by willow creek just road hunting the one on the right is me and the one on the left is my buddy tyson seen alot of deer lots of littler bucks really good place to draw for tons of deer. We drew with me having 3 points and my buddy it was his first time putting in for the book cliffs but he had 3 deer points from putting in somewhere else. Hoping to draw my elk tag next year see lots of those with one really nice six point and a nice five and a rag horn 4 tons of cows also. Their were alot of people hunting the top over by Mc Cook Ridge and Indian canyon so we stayed away from that area and hunted down lower. Here are some more pics..

I guess you and your buddy put in together for that hunt or did you apply separately? Did you see any deer bigger than the ones you took?
You saw all those elk in the same area?
Thanks for the info, that is the area I'm planning on putting in for next year.
