we hit buckboard the other day and it was on! we caught big koke's till noon useing rmt dodger's and the pink and green squid in uv.60+ft deep was best for us and we caught a couple of good fish over 4.0lbs up to 5.12lbs

How I understand it the kokes are a landlocked sockeye salmon, so yes...... they taste just like it..... Go catch yourself a few and smokem'up. You wont regret it if you like salmon.
