Nope. Not Virgin River (see above). It's a bit further north than any of the last 3 guesses (but, still Southern Utah).

I'm giving this one to bluemohawk, because he's the only person that even got in the ballpark.

these pictures are from Boulder Creek near the confluence of Deer Creek a couple miles upstream from the confluence of the Escalante River. It's the next canyon east from Calf Creek. Swimming is a necessity on this hike.

I do indeed, I love the upper stretches and still have a lot more exploring to do. This one is going to be quick and easy, I don't have very many pictures at work, so this is all I had. I attached additional pics from that trip, caught the smallest and largest fish from that paticular reservoir in back to back casts! The Smallmouth was great on the grill![Image: bobwink.gif][Image: happy.gif]
