New to this forum, looking for help with South Carolina coastal info. Planning on retiring, considering rental in Myrtle Beach general area and know zip about saltwater fishing. Lifetime freshwater fisherman, specialize in Lake Superior trollling and inland Musky fishing. I'd appreciate info on living in the area during the winter months, (Jan thru April) and what fishing is available.

Welcome to the site interceptor, hopefully one of the guys can help you with your questions but you might get better results on the South Carolina board. Here is a link to that board, good luck with your quest. WH2

Hi and welcome, Don't know anything about SC but assure you, you are in the right place. If you haven't already been advised, simply start surfing around in "State Fishing Forums > South Carolina"
I am a Newbie here too, bit intimidated at first, but everyone has just been wonderful, genuine experts in all the specialties, stick around, IMO there is no close second to BigTackle's forums
My best, tight Lines, BFS

Hi there intercepter & welcome to the BFT. Guess that you are going to join the Snow Bird group. BTW if you slip down to Florida be prepared to have supper/diner at about 4:00pm.
