Hey there guys,
The Pierpoint didn't go to Catalina Wednesday. Staying close in on Horseshoe Kelp, we fished in cold water with mixed pinhead, medium size hook bait, and frozen squid for a few bass and sheepshead. No barracuda. Weather, friends, and breakfast burritos were great. On another vien.....
A flurry of WSB action at Catalina, with a good number of boats getting good counts, makes one humble and appreciate the good times, when you're on one of the lucky boats. The local bait barges don't always offer squid, so for the candy bait, some sportsboats are able to hook up with someone willing to share at Catalina.
I wondering when we get to a point where a sportsboat will be able to put a couple of days together with consistant limits.
