Fished Pineview for Tigers this afternoon from shore . Fished from4:00 pm till dark . Saw some smaller (8 to 10") crappie caught by others and seen small perch in close to shore , but no fish for me today . I did get a drive by hit from something upset with my lure snagging up in the willows . Can't really say what it was , but so I can sleep tonight we'll call it a muskie sighting . I was casting into the flooded brush and noticed some christmas trees in there .Right when I jerked to unsnag the lure the fish broke the surface just missing my lure . I was using the finnigan minnow #6 from Hooked tackle . ( plug ) !!!
Right before I left I heard some thrashing in the brush from the distance and seen something trying to eat some ducks on the water . I seen it leap out of the water 3 times , but I couldn't find a way to motor over there and it would have been to long walk around . Was running out of light . Maybe next time . I getting close to over 200 cast now . looking for that bonus fish . I think I seen some crappie surfacing .but out of range . Look to be silver in color . tight lines
