My friend Marcus (Chuam) hooked into 9 YFC and lost a big hali while fly fishing at Belmont Shores in LB yesterday. So he calls me up and asks if I want to hit it up today.
We got down around 12pm and he threw a clouser fly and I threw a swimbait for a while. After a hour or so Marcus hooked up on a YFC. Then he hooks up again and his pole was bent solid. He yells over to me that it's another YFC, until he gets a look at the black colors on the fish. Corbina! His goal was to catch 1 corbina this season on a fly. Well he reached his goal with a not-too-shabby-at-all 20" corbina.

I then tied on a 3" motoroil grub and immediately hooked into a YFC for myself. After the release I immediately hooked up again into a 19.5" hallie. Not bad for a day's of work.
