Weather permitting, I will be joining a few of my fishing buddies at SARL this coming Saturday.

Apparently the 2 new state record fish are still out there and up for grabs according to the SARL reports.
1 Rainbow Trout of 29 1/2lbs (new state record) and 1 Trout of 31 1/2lb (harder to beat) are still out there and up for grabs.
If anyone wants to join me and my friends there please feel free to post your interest here.
They do have a separate bonus of $500 bucks for using any Nitro product as well as another $500 bonus for using Eagle Claw hooks.
Let's go out there and put these 2 finless Freddies out of their misery.
SARL aslo posted that they will mount the fish for free. $500 value.[cool]

Weather was not permiting. Totally bumed. Got my nitro and eagle claw ready to go but to much wind. Will wait for next weekend to pick up that monster trout. I only hope tubeN2 still has a cold one left from this weekend and the coming week. lol

Have we settled on a spot yet???. I have a hankerin' to fish Laguna Niguel again. I know it wasn't the most spectacular last time but my little birdies are raving about the place now. They are stocking both Alpers and "wild" Utah Rainbows. Both types have full fins and fight like crazy. The Bass are picking up and the Crappie are on a tear. Water is clearing up.... 1 vote for LNLake.
