Didnt realy want to fight the mud hole my yard now is, and turning the boat over, finding the ancor and oars and jackets and.. and... and,.... I decided to save that job for a less nicer day...

went out for a few hours today to soak up some 80 degree sun.

I got one chub bite, suckers are not yet moving Or have they already moved before the ice whent.

today the remaining of the ice floating on the lake vanished from 70 degree night rains and wind.

still it was a beutiful day to be on the side of the river.

Broke a line today!

it was an old line, and it was on a carp...

no suckers in the river yet. I wonder if they have come and gone already... the white horse that is, the red horse dont start running for a few weeks yet...

I was working on the boat myself , the shop vac and a bucket were needed to haul all the water out of it , tarp musta leaked .
the minkota I fear is a goner , submerged for quite a while .
New tags for this year , replaced a tail light , going to need a new rope on the wench .
The moter , well I did that up right last fall .
1 pull and she was a huffin' and a puffin'.
Au Sable tomorow morn .
Gotta catch a few fish for the B.F.T. 2007 ,16 species contest .
Tomorow starts it off , Right ? And it's free ?

I got some yard work if weather allows tomarow, but sunday I will try to drown another worm or two...
