The Fred Hall Show is at the Cow Palace in San Francisco this week from the 14th to the 18th. Come by and visit the Coastside Booth as we have several great raffles including the Yamaha 8 Horsepower Kicker Motor (thanks to our friends at North River and Sacramento River Marine) and a full 5 day Alaska Fishing Vacation at the Eagles Nest Lodge in Gustaves Alaska. This is the lodge where Coastside holds its annual trip with last year having two fish in the 300 pound class and several in the 200 pound range. A $5 raffle ticket is all it takes to win the trip. This is only a small part of what will be happening at the booth. Bring the kids by, every child under 16 years old will get a free Coastside Fishing Club T-Shirt (while supplies last, limit one per person). We will also have hats, burgess, stickers and other items available as well.
Don't forget about the Angler Caucus on Saturday Morning, there will be some very important information discussed concerning the MLPA. You can go to the Coastside site or the Fred Hall website for more details. Ben Sleeter and/or Dan Wolford will be in the booth so if you want to come talk politics and MPA issues, these are the guys that are on the front lines and in the trenches.
And lastly, come to help support your club and the show. The Fred Hall Show is an integral part of our fishery and an important part in our future with some of the proceeds going back into help preserving our sport, so with all that, you don't have a reason not to come.
