Fish ID

Are these fish Troutlodge Kamloop? They don't appear to have the coloring or spotting of the Hayspur Rainbow. Both species are supposed to be in the pond.

Here is a picture of a bow I caught at Chesterfield that BrianID said was a Troutlodge Kamloop. Your fish look like the same strain. WH2

We had a lake here that was stocked with Kamloops and the only way I could tell is they had the fin clipped. I have no idea how you can tell the difference other than they grow twice as fast.

They look like the troutlodge kamaloops to me but they might be hayspur rainbows. You must have caught them in deeper water or there wasn't much sunlight getting through the ice because the coloring on the fish isn't very distinctive.
If I have time latter I'll see if I have some digital pictures that show a good example of hayspur rainbows and others.

Thanks for the info. Nice trout WH2. Do you remember his weight or length?

BrianID, they were caught in approx 30 ft of water right off the bottom. When the weather turned warm there would have been a covering of slush created on the ice ... then snow later.
