Stearns Wharf Fishing Report 4/8/05

We went to Stearns Wharf in Santa Barbara. We arrived at 8:30pm and stayed until about 1:30am.

There were no fish biting but there were some other species asociated with the pier.

We caught several Rock Crabs as well as some small red crabs. Spider crabs and Kelp crabs were also in our hoop nets but very small.

We also caught Starfish.

Sorry for the pier situation. Been talkin' to some tubers that have actually hit the Leo Carillio State Park beach kelp for some tube action.

Guess the area is more tube friendly than I thought.

I saw them on the Baytubers site. Cabrillo looks like a nice area. It's calm, there's plenty of bait and "Butts" in the area.[cool]
