Shawn, Randy and I got on just after 7am. We did decent I caught 8 trout and about a dozen foot long Bass on a gizzy bug dropper under a 1/4oz. Kastmaster. The bass were down in the weeds. Shawn used his live scope to find a brush pile right on a depth break in 31’ of water that held a bunch of bass and probably doubled me up on the bass, Randy and I both got to play with Shawn live scope  hooking a couple. Cool watching the fish react in real time.

Sounds like a decent day on the ice. What color gizzy bugs were working the best?

Glow white with a Chartreuse jig head tipped with meal worm, was what was working for me.

We caught trout, I got eight 14-16" trout, I'm not sure how many the other guys got. We where a little disappointed on the size of the trout, they where in good condition though football shaped.

This is the first one Shawn caught. I got several about the same size.

Some nice bass.

I got rainbows on white foxy jigs, Chartreuse tubes and paddle bugs tipped with worms and several with jigs tipped with 1 inch gulp minnows. The trout are easy to catch. The bass bite so soft, they are hard to detect. My jaw jacker went off several times with no fish on. I'm thinking the bass did it.

We had a good morning on Devil's Creek (12/17). This was the biggest of the day. Very slushy conditions in some locations.
