Pend Oreille
#1
I’ll be heading up north to Pend Oreille mid-June, and was curious about that’s in the lake. I remember talking to a fisheries biologist a couple years ago about the area. I know there’s Kokanee and trout, and ‘eyes but was more curious about pike. Do I have to go south to fish for them (like CdA) or are there any up that way. We’ll be up there for a weekend and hoping to get an idea where to start our ventures, rather than spending the whole time trying to locate a fish.

Thanks for any help!

There's pike in there, I've not fished it, but would be my lake of choice if I was in that area. Bays with weeds would probably be a good place to start.

I downloaded a map, and marked some flats and drop offs. Anything in particular when looking for pike?

Weather made fishing almost impossible out of my boat, but the time we did get to fish, the girlfriend caught ‘em all. Lost a few big ones, but I will be back up and figure that lake out

Nice, that's a good start. Weather kept us off of the lake today.
