I'm thinking about hitting Daniels this weekend. Any recent reports on the ice? How is the fishing? Is the parking lot accessible? Snow conditions? Any info is greatly appreciated.

its snowy, north end of the lake still had open water. ice was 4-5" out from the ramp

Fished for only a couple of hours on Wednesday down by the dam. Ice was 5" thick. Action was pretty steady once I was set up, though fish were smaller than I remember. Landed three 12" trout in 1.5 hours, several missed. It was good to be back on the ice
