Hey if any of you were wanting to join either the catfish contest or the open challenge this summer the entry deadline is May 31st, so let me know if you want to play before it's too late... Remember the price is brutal, it's free to play and we usually have some great prizes, that go to not only the winners, but lucky drawing winners as well... Just enter and get a fish on the board to qualify for the drawings... Hope you'll join us, it's a lot of fun... Whether your a catfish king or like to fish other things there is a contest or bracket just for you... And it's also a way to track your best fish of the summer too, we'll do it for you as long as you keep entering your next bigger fish... Just let me know which contest and if it's catfish, I need to know if you'll be fishing for the north or the south team? That depends on where you fish most, if it's Utah Lake or Jordon river and points south, then it's south. If you fish Willard, Cutler, Bear River and points north, then it's north... Buy the way team north is currently leading the battle... Welcome to BFT also, it's great to have you with us... If I still haven't answered your questions I'll try again... It may be sort of hard finding the Utah Contest board, so if you need those directions let me know... That's where all the rules are, they aren't too serious, but it gives you the details we play by and let's you print up a label or placard or what ever we call the paper we put in the photos... I would be the south and thanks I will print that out ASAP I was meaning to sign up earlier but spaced it then. Of course I hook a 23 LB 34 Incher so all I need is that paper and send in pics and I am good?

Ok will get you on the list and read the rules to find all the details like naming where caught, date caught and the size you measured the fish as. Look at some of the other posts to get an idea of what and how to do it. Thanks Jeff

Okay I got ya entered and this is how you enter a fish.. First you have to find the Utah Contest Board. So click on the state forums and select Utah. A list of different forums comes up and if you scroll down a ways you'll see the Utah contests forum. Click on that. Then you will need to start a post, so select the create post option and when it comes up title it "Catfish Contest 2017 old pops"
Then in the body of the post put the date, where you caught the fish and the length you measured the fish at. Then just under the body of the post there is a paper clip and a browse button, you can click on this and as long as you have the pictures in a directory that you can get to, you go there and select your picture. Then click on upload attachment and after it regenerates, then scroll down and click post reply... I think this is all the steps you need to do... Sounds hard a first, but it's really pretty easy after you do two or three of them... If you have any other questions please let me know... Oh and when you catch the next fish, just go to your first post and click on reply to your first post and enter your second fish like you did above... Later J
