So now I'm going to get blamed for wet feet! My name is Jeff, also. Seriously, it is your plank! You should not have to feel bad about taking it! I saw several just left of the ramp, early Saturday morning. But nobody needed or was using it, other than kids thinking it was cool. When we left about noon, the edges were still just fine, and kids were even sledding down the ramp, and onto the ice. There were a few wet edges at that point, but we had no problems. You go fishing when edges are in question, you take you chances! Bring a couple heavy trash bags along, to slip on your legs, or bring an old extension ladder, but don't bellyache. It's like people coming without an auger, hoping someone will drill them a hole. Maybe they will, but then again, maybe they won't.
