There's a lot out there at the big marine stores if you google captains chair. I've had the same herniated disc for three years. This is the chair I have now, and am sitting in/on it daily with no problems. Its the Wise Torsa Proangler. http://www.blackbearsportinggoods.com/To...m?click=12
In past years, I also used a seat and strapped the same lumbar support to it that I use in the truck, in the house, in my camper, and anywhere else I sit for an extended period. http://www.amazon.com/Bodyline-Back-Hugg...detailpage
No surgery for me! I've changed my ways, keep my back straight and supported, quit lifting with my back, and the pain is minimal and tolerable most days.
