Ah yes, iamthesmf posted up those fittings, thought they were yours due to the blue tank.
Looks like your vittle vault type tank turned out well. Especially like that it's easily stowable, and that the color matches the boat nicely.
You guys have inspired me a bit and I ordered a couple things to build a bait tank. Something new for me to try out at Mead and Mohave, besides soaking chovies and dragging around big lures.
Couple things I spotted that may be an issue, or suggestions I guess.
- The pump line going to the bottom of the tank will create a siphon and empty the tank when the pump isn't running, like when jetting to another fishing spot. Maybe a check valve as someone else mentioned or lift the line off the bottom a bit? Heck, even drilling a small "spray" hole into fitting inside the tank would break the siphon.
- A tie line on the lid may come in handy so it doesn't fall in the water. My luck, I'd drop the lid in the water the first trip out, or my kids would for sure. Add it to their long list of things they have sent to Davey Jones locker.
- A tie line on the pump's T mount fitting and then connected to the transom tie-down might be good if the PVC fails. I've had a couple of my PVC boat creations fail... LOL
