I was wondering the same. Those are some pretty darn cool fittings iamthesmf has on his newest set-up.
Other than testing one of these days mod 2 is complete. Pretty darn happy about that container I found. LOVE IT!!! When I first looked at it in person after it was delivered I was like there is no way that thing is 15 gallons. I was outside in minutes with a 5 gallon bucket. I only filled it with 10 gallons so I knew where that point was out but no doubt another 5 would of fit. Surprised me.
The material it is made out of is the same as the big 30-55 gallon drums and the lid... Weighs about the same as the whole container. SOLID stuff.
Don't see anything to change. The way to tie it down could use some improving but other than that IMO good to go with no changes that I can see. 100% portable. 2 seconds to disconnect the pump from the back of the boat, disconnect the input/output lines, put them and the ropes and the cast net, etc all in the container and screw the lid on. Striper fishing kit in a bottle that fits under the passenger dash with tons of room to spare...
10 gallons of water right at the seam of the container where it starts to get skinny again.
Guessing my overboard drain line is at the 11-12 gallon point.
